Today I have seen both the empowering impact that women supporting other women can have on not just myself, or just 1 person but on the progress of all women and I have also seen the devastating impact that women tearing down other women can have on not just on myself, or 1 person but on the progress of all women.

Do we really have to be so wrapped up in ourselves and our wants & need to make ourselves feel better about ourselves that we tear someone else down or make them feel bad about their own position, place, personality or possessions (or lack thereof)? I can’t remember who I heard say it (possibly Natalie MacNeal or Rene Airya) but basically, it was “Men, violence against women & over-sexualization of women are not women’s greatest enemies, it’s other women.”

We’re all in this together ladies, we’re all struggling with something and just trying to do what we can make our own little worlds and hopefully the world at large a better place. Let’s all try to show a little grace to each other, let’s try to be a little kinder. To those who showed me kindness today, thank you more than you know! And to those who didn’t show me kindness, I am choosing to show them grace.

  • This is the definition of Inspirational Truth. Women that are not ready to step into their victory would see this as an insult; not understanding that women are the ones that make the world go round. Without women helping one another we are destined to fall by the hands of those looking to use and abuse for the sake of their come up. I have searched all my life for women that are about empowering and not belittling to give a helping hand and when I tell you in that search I’ve found more scorpions than saints. It is refreshing to find someone of the same mindset.
